hikingsuitable: Taped seams and a storm hood are what a long wet day on an exposed path actually asks for.
cyclingusable: Excellent coverage, but cut for layers and it catches air; the hood is not adjustable for a riding position.
commutingusable: Heavier and more technical-looking than a commute needs, though it handles the walk from the car park in a downpour.

Taped seams, a coated face fabric, a storm hood and a two-way front zip — the most weather-resistant thing we make. It has not been tested for hydrostatic resistance, so no mm-water-column figure appears anywhere on it. Until that test exists, the honest word is still water-repellent.
